George Raft and Spencer Tracy in Quick Millions (1931)

“Quick Millions” is a pre-code film that was released on May 3, 1931 with Spencer Tracy in his second starring role and featured George Raft as his sidekick. The plot revolves around Tracy who makes a fortune running a protection racket and thinks he has earned a place in society. Not everyone agrees. George performs a solo dance routine described as “eccentric” especially for a stone cold killer. The scene is memorable for that as well as the angle from which it was shot.
